Had too much of the Miami nightlife? Bored of lying on the beach? Tired of the whole city scene? If any or all of the above are true, you might want to get a taste of the country life and put a riding lesson or two under your saddle.

Miami International Riding Club (MIRC) specializes in teaching beginners how to ride a horse but experienced, competitive riders can learn a lot here, too. All of MIRC's horses are very gentle and accustomed to giving lessons. Children as young as five can learn to ride and adults of all ages and abilities are welcome, as well.

A full equestrian facility, MIRC teaches English riding, specializing in hunt-seat riding and show jumping. Family owned and operated, the mother-daughter team of Daniela and Celia Bunge are CHA certified instructors and love to teach beginners as much as they like to ride, themselves.

Miami International Riding Club's ten acre, fully equipped facility has two large outdoor show jumping arenas and a large grass leisure riding field. There are 40 large stalls with fans and fresh water for folks who wish to board their horses, air conditioned tack rooms as well as bathroom and shower facilities. If you want to buy or lease a horse, they'll help you with that, too!

Located about 30 miles South of Miami Beach at 22620 SW 134th Ave, Miami, FL 33170, Miami International Riding Club is open 7 days a week with flexible hours that can accommodate practically anyone's schedule. Lessons are $60 but they offer 30% off of your first lesson, making it only $42 for first timers. You can schedule a lesson by calling them at 305-775-9155.

The next time you're in Miami, thinking, "been there; done that," throw on a riding outfit and head over to Miami International Riding Club. It'll be an experience you never forget!
